Spreading God's Word

IN WARD ARKANSAS

Our Leadership Team

The staff and leadership here at Grace Community is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. If you have any questions for any of our staff, feel free to reach out and email the church at info@discovergrace.tv

Joe Harrod -  Pastor

Joe, Ohio native, has been married to the beautiful and hilarious Amanda, Arkansas born and bred, for 21 years. They have 3 children together, ranging from 20 to 13. Joe was in the Air Force, which is how he came to Arkansas in 2002. They began as members of Grace Community in 2016. They began leading the youth ministry in 2017, and became Senior Pastor in 2019. His vision is that anyone who walks through the doors of Grace Community feel welcomed! He believes that being a Christian isn’t something specialized to Sundays, that church isn’t something that just happens at the altar, and that that Gods grace is everywhere – sometimes it's where we least expect it. For us, to always be a resource or helping hand in the community! For all to know that we all screw up and make mistakes, but NONE of it is "too big" for our God!

As God continues to send incredible men and women of God to our church each week, discipling, creating new ministries, and serving our community . That we always seek God first in all things! The legacy I hope to leave with not only Grace but with life is someone who loves. I hope my love for my calling from God is shown.

Taylor Goodman - Worship Pastor

Taylor has been with Grace since his WHOLE life, been a part of the worship team for about 14 years, and "staffed" for about 5 years. He has been married to his adoring wife Shauna since May 2020. He loves how he can express himself in music, when words aren't enough.

Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

Brandon Tounzen- Youth Leader

Brandon is married to the ever beautiful and spiritually strong Shelley. He leads the grades 5-12th with direction in their walks with Christ during the hard times of adolescence.

Our Beliefs

We want anyone who walks through the doors of Grace Community to feel welcomed! I believe that being a Christian isn’t something specialized to Sunday's, that church isn’t something that just happens at the altar, and that that Gods grace is everywhere – sometimes it's where we least expect it.

Here we want everyone to feel like a family - a family that is there for one another even in the dark times. They encourage, they hug, they laugh, they hold one another accountable and most importantly they LOVE!

Ragamuffins are the unsung assembly of saved sinners who are little in their own sight and aware of their brokenness and powerlessness before God. A ragamuffin knows he is only a beggar at the door of God's grace. Welcome to a place called Grace. We are a Ragamuffin Church.

From Pastor Joe:

I believe Jesus is God, the living Word, who became flesh. I believe He voluntarily atoned for our sins by dying on the cross. I believe He rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. I believe in the Holy Spirit as a divine Person, sent to inhabit, guide and empower believers. I believe that salvation is a work of God’s free grace and is not the result of human works, “being good” or taking part in religious ceremonies.
